Description

Due to SLATE being a low capacitance guitar cable, you'll find extended, crisp high end, a tightly defined low end, and clear, precise mids all responding incredibly to playing dynamics. This lends itself to drawing out your guitar or bass guitar's truest, sweetest sound. The namesake gray jacket was chosen for the purpose of standing out in piles of black cable without drawing unnecessary attention onstage. Dual spiral shielding and a thick stranded core make it flexibly tangle-resistant, and with a tough exterior and a carefully crafted interior, the Sinasoid SLATE is bound to deliver the best of your tone for years to come.

This low capacitance instrument cable comes stock with dual nickel straight G&H plugs, with color and orientation upgrade options available.

As with every Custom Shop cable, these Sinasoid Signature SLATE cables are handmade with love, carefully assembled and packed in our shop, and are covered by our 100 Year Warranty.

5 of 5 The New Standard April 15, 2020
Reviewer: Jason
I've used generic cables in the past, including some high end brand names and this cable definitely set the standard.  Its built like a tank and I would find it hard to believe if there is an issue or failure with the cable.

5 of 5 The Cable I Always Go To! April 15, 2020
Reviewer: Doug from Richmond, VA
The first time I ordered from Sinasoid was when I decided to switch my very complex pedalboard away from a company that had been awful to deal with (their name rhymes with "java") to Sinasoid.  The patch cables I ordered were backordered. Sinasoid contacted me about every week to update me.  After a few weeks, they said "you know, this sucks, we're going to send you a Slate for the trouble."  And, here it is, two years later, and guess which cable is my main lead cable?  It's thick (but not too thick), it's sturdy, the grey looks awesome, and it sounds fantastic.  I've got a Sable as well, and, if you're on the fence between the two, you can't really go wrong with either.  The Slate is the slightest bit more flexible with a little warmer tone overall.

5 of 5 Sinasoid Slate Rules!! April 15, 2020
Reviewer: David Hinds from Belmont, NSW Australia
After seeing a rig rundown by Josh Smith, and hearing him sing the praises of Sinasoid Slate cables, I had to get some for myself and my bass playing wife, Lyn. After all, Josh has the best tone and ears in the business! And we sure weren't disappointed! They shipped direct to us in Australia, and we immediately tried them out in our studio. I tried mine with my Les Paul, Strat and Tele into Mesa Boogie Fillmore 100 and California Tweed combos, and Lyn tried hers with her Rickenbacker 4003 and Fender Precision basses into her Mesa Boogie Subway WD800 rig, and we were floored by the improvement in tone! Everything sounded more open and detailed and....just bigger and clearer! It was as if the whole bandwidth of our sound had expanded! Hard to describe, but kind of HiFi....with warmth! Such an amazing difference and we will be Sinasoid players for life!
