Description

The incredibly popular G&H solderless patch cable kit has finally landed in our shop. These low profile pedalboard kits are ace for that tight spot when a patch has failed (knock on wood), and you need something wired up in a jiff. Takes just a few moments to assemble. Measure, cut, insert, tighten grub screw, test. Easy! Angle the cable or keep it straight. Do what you need to do. It'll get there. There's a reason why this is one of the best solderless cable kits out there.

Each pair of plugs in your order will come with 1' of Solderless Kit Wire in your chosen color. It WILL be a continuous length of wire unless otherwise requested.

The parts in these kits are warrantied by G&H. Please note that you will need a small flathead screwdriver to fully assemble the kit. The screwdriver is NOT included in this kit.

Order parts enough for up to 20 patches at once with this convenient little situation. Wire up your WHOLE DANG ENTIRE BOARD AT ONCE, YOLO HAHA

The G&H Solderless mini kit is available in a bunch of great colors:
  • Black
  • White
  • Aqua
  • Blue
  • Orange
  • Purple
  • Red
  • Gray
Important assembly tips: It's VERY important that when you cut the wire, the top edge of the wire is a CRISP, clean cut that is very square. If it's a straight cut but the wire isn't quite square along the top, work it into a nice flat top and fully round shape. Please also ensure that you fully insert the wire into the plug. There is a pin in the plug assembly that must fully pierce the core of the wire. While you tighten the grub screw, please make sure that you keep consistent pressure on the wire going into the plug, and tighten it about 1/2 turn past flush from the plug housing. Feel free to contact us for more tips :]

Had to use it to replace a glitchy patch cable, took a few minutes to measure cut and assemble, worked great, easy fix!

5 of 5 I've used them all, and these are the best! April 15, 2020

I've used Planet Waves solderless kits.  I've used multiple types of Lava solderless kits.  I've used George L's.  I could go on.  The G&H kits are, hands down, the best out there.  Quick to make (you don't need to strip anything!), nearly impossible to make incorrectly, and hard to break once made.  I've got enough of these to make about two pedalboards worth of cables due to a complex switcher setup I used to have, but I'm so glad I have extra, because if I ever need a short cable, I probably have one in my drawer.  If you're on the fence about solderless and don't really want to pay the extra for Slivers or other soldered cables, I'd really consider picking these up.  Pro tip: if you have some sort of looper, get two colors, and you can use one color for sends, and one color for returns.  I like the purple!

Ordered a set of these patch cables to clean up my board and was not disappointed!  The plugs have a great quality feel to them and are tiny.  The cables are super easy to put together.  No issues in 6+ months of regular use!
